My second daughter is a kinesthetic/tactile learner who loves princesses.
This is a little bit outside of my comfort zone in terms of teaching.
My first is a visual learner just like me.
So how do you teach academics to kinesthetic/tactile learners?
You get really creative.
Today we strung some yarn through a hole in a paper plate,
put a princess on the plate,
and pulled the string and plate across the room.
Then we added another princess and counted how many we had now.
We got up to ten princesses and my daughter counted them perfectly.
Homeschool success of the day!
