My heart is breaking
And the tears are flowing freely
For a young family we know
Who just lost their second child
A baby boy
Only a week old.
It is nearly unbearable
To even imagine what they must be feeling.
I know I am mourning with those who mourn,
But I feel so helpless otherwise.
My thoughts turn to the temple.
Forever families.
Together forever someday.
That is what Heaven is:
Eternally cultivating, strengthening, and deepening family relationships.
They will have their baby again.
This knowledge gives them hope and the peace needed to keep moving forward.
My prayers are with them.
