Truth

There's truth and then there's Truth.

It's true that having children is exhausting and messy and frustrating.

But the Truth is that having children is the most fulfilling thing you will ever do.

My kids are the color in my life, my purpose for being. I miss them when they are sleeping and get excited when they wake up in the morning. I thrill at every milestone and progression. It's easy for me to understand how God must feel about watching us grow and learn. He lives for our happiness and progression.

It's true that being a homemaker can feel dull and repetitive and menial.

But the Truth is that homemaking has layers of meaning and purpose. It is actually God-like when you think about it: creating order from chaos, feeding, clothing, washing, teaching, beautifying. There is so much we could learn from thinking deeper about the calling of a homemaker.

It's true that marriage is hard work and frequently lacking in the sunshine and rainbows we always imagined.

But the Truth is that marriage is refining and glorifying. All that hard work produces deeper love and greater unity. Though some fail, many succeed! I am committed to being one of the success stories.

See past the facts and you'll discover a whole other world of Truth.
